Yes. Most creditors will continue charging interest and fees until the account is charged off—typically within 3–6 months. However, your personalized program already factors in these charges and incorporates them into your overall settlement plan. Even with additional fees, our negotiations generally reduce your total debt to a fraction of the original amount, resulting in substantial net savings.

It’s uncommon for creditors to decline settlement offers. They understand that accepting a reduced amount is often better than risking no repayment at all—especially if bankruptcy is a possibility. In the rare event a creditor does not accept our initial offer, they will typically be willing to negotiate a counteroffer or payment arrangement that still benefits you.

Yes. Most accounts enrolled in the program will become delinquent and eventually “charge off,” which will impact your credit score. The good news is that once a settlement is completed, creditors report the account as settled with a zero balance. This allows you to begin rebuilding your credit over time.

You may continue to receive calls and letters, especially early in the process. Many creditors become more cooperative once they confirm you’re working with us. Your welcome kit includes guidance on how to handle these calls, and your account manager should be informed of any collection activity so they can support you throughout the process.

Debt settlement is designed for individuals facing genuine financial hardship—those who are behind on payments, unable to meet their monthly obligations, or at risk of bankruptcy. If you’re struggling to manage your debt, you may be a strong candidate.

Simply complete the online form. A debt consultant will review your information and contact you to discuss your financial situation and hardship. After the evaluation, your consultant will determine whether you qualify for the program and walk you through the next steps.
